摘要: This review focuses on the factors that determine molecular weight of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), an aliphatic polyester synthesized by bacteria for carbon and energy storage. Because mechanical strength PHA increases with its weight, high-molecular polymers are preferred. The synthesis should consider following factors: concentration synthase, occurrence chain transfer reaction, catalytic activity synthase simultaneous degradation during biosynthesis. These have a direct impact PHA.
