摘要: In recent years numerous studies have indicated the importance of microRNAs (miRNA/miRs) in human pathology. Down syndrome (DS) is most prevalent survivable chromosomal disorder and attributed to trisomy 21 subsequent alteration dosage genes located on this chromosome. A number miRNAs are overexpressed down syndrome, including miR-155, miR-802, miR- 125b-2, let-7c miR-99a. This overexpression may contribute neuropathology, congenital heart defects, leukemia low rate solid tumor development observed patients with DS. MiRNAs other chromosomes associated target or off chromosome also be involved DS phenotype. present review, an overview haploinsufficiency protein translation specific miRNA targets discussed. aimed aid understanding pathogenesis DS, novel strategies for prevention treatment pathologies
