摘要: Objective: to analyze evidence concerning the feasibility of antimicrobial-impregnated fabrics in preventing and controlling microbial transmission health services. Method: an integrative review using following databases: MEDLINE (via PubMed), Web Science, Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Scopus, Latin American Caribbean Sciences (LILACS), regardless language date publication. Seven studies were included analysis verify types substances used impregnate fabrics, applicability services, decrease load. Results: silver nanoparticles copper oxide are main antimicrobial fabrics. The patients’ use these such as bed bath linens clothing, was more effective reducing load than workers’ uniforms. Conclusion: textiles, especially by patients, is a viable alternative prevent control Implementing uniforms requires further studies, however, its effectiveness decreasing clinical practice.
