摘要: Abstract The work reports on a nondestructive pathway to produce polymer brush modified carbon nanotubes (CNTs) through surface-initiated polymerization followed by nanoparticle uploading. First, polydopamine layers with high surface coverage were formed CNTs spontaneous oxidative of dopamine. These then used as the reactive layer for subsequent initiator attachment and grafting. Atom transfer radical dimethylamino-ethyl methacrylate was initiated from layer, resulting in formation uniform polydimethylamino-ethyl (PDMAEMA) brushes CNT surface. further quaternized reaction CH3I form cationic Quaternized-PDMAEMA (Q-PDMAEMA). reversible solubilities PDMAEMA- Q-PDMAEMA-modified achieved switching between different solutions. Palladium nanoparticles attached onto using Q-PDMAEMA mediated anion exchange situ reduction NaBH4. electrocatalytic behavior material studied an electrochemical method.
