摘要: The volume magnetic susceptibility (χv) and Vickers hardness (HV) of Au–Ta Au–Nb alloys were investigated for use as resonance imaging (MRI)-compatible biomedical applications. χv the did not depend on phase constitution but alloy composition. Therefore, heat treatment hardly affected alloys, only with Ta contents near 15 possibly MRI-compatible. In contrast, depended constitution. both composition can be used to widely control Au–xNb (x≥6.8) made MRI-compatible by optimizing using treatment.
