摘要: Introduction: It appears that enteral nutrition is more likely to produce hypoglycemia during intensive insulin therapy than total parenteral nutrition. Point of View: Although this consequence may in part be the result frequent discontinuation feeding or variability gastrointestinal absorption nutrients, there are also distinct physiological differences between and responsible, including much higher serum responses with approach submaximal response levels direct appearance administered glucose into systemic circulation at rates approximate usual postabsorptive avoid first-pass hepatic clearance. Conclusions: These factors make efficacious, least initially, justify setting a limit for control when principally used.
