摘要: Gibberellic acid is known to stabilise microtubules in plant organs against depolymerisation. We have now devised a simplified cell system for studying this. Pretreatment of maize suspension with gibberellic just 3 h stabilised protoplast depolymerisation on ice. In other eukaryotes, acetylation α-tubulin correlate microtubule stabilisation but this not established plants. By isolating the polymeric tubulin fraction from cytoskeletons and immunoblotting antibody 6-11B-1, we demonstrated that stimulates α-tubulin. This first link between higher
