摘要: A commercial prototype of the Anger multiplane tomographic scanner was compared with a scintillation camera, in terms observer performance, as primary instrument for brain scintigraphy. Observer performance (diagnostic accuracy), expressed ROC curves, slightly better when reading scans than camera images. In scintigraphy general population, has small advantage over camera. This is directly proportional to fraction cases which there difficulty differentiating intracranial lesions from superficial foci activity on image.
