摘要: We report the discovery of fossil vertebrate remains from Lower and Middle Devonian West Falkland (Fig. 1). Acanthodian were found in marine Fox Bay formation (Lower Devonian; Emsian?) near Roy Cove, Port North. Although this material is fragmentary, it represents first record any Islands. An incomplete placoderm central plate was also recovered Philomel (Middle Devonian, Givetian) at Dunnose Head, Falkland.
