Experimental evidence of continuous melting of ethylene on graphite.

摘要: Heat-capacity measurements of ethylene on graphite in both the submonolayer and monolayer regions reveal a weak broad anomaly relating to melting transition overlayer. The findings are contrast all previous studies physisorbed systems, where sharp heat-capacity signals were observed. These results suggest that is continuous for as well coverages.
