摘要: An ultraviolet radiation-absorbing, colorless, transparent soda-lime-silica glass as well bottles formed out of the are disclosed which, while maintaining high transmittance to light in visible region and thereby allowing contents be seen clearly, absorbs radiation thus prevents coloration, discoloration, fading color or deterioration flavor caused by radiation. The is characterized that its composition includes, % weight, SO 3 . 0.15-0.4%; Cerium oxide 0.2-1% (calculated CeO 2 ); Fe O 0.01-0.08%; FeO 0-0.008%; Manganese 0.01-0.08% MnO); Cobalt 0-0.0005% CoO).
