Structural, optical, magnetic and electrical properties of hematite (α-Fe 2 O 3 ) nanoparticles synthesized by two methods: polyol and precipitation

摘要: Hematite (α-Fe2O3) nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized via two methods: (1) polyol and (2) precipitation in water. The influence of synthesis methods on the crystalline structure, morphological, optical, magnetic electrical properties were investigated using X-ray diffraction, RAMAN spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV–vis DRS), superconducting quantum interference device impedance spectroscopy. structural showed that obtained hematite α-Fe2O3 with preparation exhibit hexagonal phase high crystallinity high-phase stability at room temperature. It was found average nanoparticle size is estimated to be 36.86 nm for sample by 54.14 nm polyol. Moreover, optical band gap energy value (2.07 eV) higher than (1.97 eV) they a red shift visible region. Furthermore, measurements indicated magnetization loop typical ferromagnetic systems Measurements show dielectric permittivity (5.64 × 103) relaxation phenomenon issued from method other sample.
