摘要: The U.S. construction industry suffers from high rates of fatalities, injuries and illnesses. Non-fatal illnesses also lead to low productivity. Among various types hazards workers are exposed to, excessive physiological loads have generated unnoticed but profound negative impacts on productivity safety. This research aims at automatically detecting the load by using wearable sensors. utilized off-the-shelf bio-sensors that collect heart rate energy expenditure in real time. Biomedical measurements were carried out during masonry wall construction. collected data analyzed statistically compared with subjective feedback test participants. authors introduced an index quantify level for workers. ultimate goal is develop a prevention system reduces fatalities injuries, increases sites monitoring workers’ conditions
