Perceptions of Transition and the Crisis in Macedonia

摘要: This paper provides an analysis of people’s perceptions about the effects transition process and economic crisis in Macedonia, as extrapolated from UNDP surveys 2008 2009 set context Macedonia’s political life. Questions were constructed a way to compare current situation with pre-1989 period order show differences opinions. The results indicate dissatisfaction, especially among young people. Participants blame their dissatisfaction on problems that have occurred during transition. Their expectations had been high respect efficiency but has not brought employment or quality life closer EU average. In fact, unemployment rates increased job security lost. widespread belief was better before liberalisation privatisation is no surprise subjectively reflects developments Macedonia.
