Characteristics of slurry from fattening pigs, and comparison with slurry from laying hens

摘要: Abstract Successful utilisation of animal excreta is dependent on knowledge the characteristics material. Most published reports are confined to analyses samples collected over a relatively short period time and give little information variability parameters such as suspended solids, chemical oxygen demand, biochemical or plant nutrient content. During studies biological treatment wastes, fresh slurry have been analysed at frequent intervals prolonged period.
