摘要: Introduction Giant-cell tumour of the tendon sheath is a solitary, firm, extraarticular localized, benign, soft tissue that usually presents with painless swelling for several years. Aetiology disease unknown. It relatively rare tumour, an overall incidence 1 in 50,000 individuals and affects people between 30 to 50 more often seen women, female male ratio 3:2. There no certain treatment protocol but complete local excision or without radiotherapy choice. Local recurrence after approximately 10 % 20 %. typically small joints hands feet. Also, it can be found around ankle, knee joints, elbow hip. The aim this review was discuss giant-cell tumours sheath. Conclusion are lots obscurities about topic, so prospective well – designed studies including large number cases necessary determine prognostic factors, rate proper each individual patient.
