摘要: In several places in India, activated alumina is used for effective removal of arsenic from contaminated ground water drinking purposes. Once exhausted, regenerated and reused number cycles. Regeneration generates treatment residuals containing arsenic, disposal which needs care so as to avoid further pollution the neighbouring environment. present study, a suitable stabilization method inside well aerated coarse sand filter bed has been developed. Standard leaching tests carried out with stabilized residual indicated that was minimum, within regulatory limit. Water quality data all wells located 100 m were monitored nearly four years no adverse impact arsenic-laden observed.
