The follow-up period was 6 months to 5.7 years (mean 3.4 +/- 1.3 standard error mean). Deafferentation and neuropathic showed best results, 68% 62% reduction (visual analog scale), respectively. mean morphine dosage initially administered 2.7 mg/day (range 0.3-12 mg/day); after an average years, it 4.7 mg/day). a observation 28 who received for longer than 4 years. 18 (64.3%) had constant history 10 (35.7%) increase more 1 year determination. seven cases, tolerance developed: four controlled by means "drug holidays"; but three necessary remove systems.
