摘要: Patients treated for cancer frequently experience chemobrain, characterized by impaired memory and reduced attention. These deficits often persist after treatment, no preventive or curative interventions exist. In mice, we assessed the effect of cisplatin chemotherapy on attention using 5-choice serial reaction time task synaptic integrity. We also capacity mesenchymal stem cells to normalize characteristics chemobrain. Mice were trained in task. After reaching advancement criteria at a 4-second stimulus time, they with followed nasal administration cells. Cisplatin percentage correct responses due an increase omissions, indicating deficits. Mesenchymal cell treatment reversed these cisplatin-induced induced abnormalities markers integrity prefrontal cortex. Specifically, decreased expression global presynaptic marker synaptophysin glutamatergic vGlut2. Expression GABAergic vGAT increased. Nasal normalized conclusion, induces long-lasting that are associated behavioural structural
