Optical spectra of nearest neighbour nickel pairs in KMgF3 and KZnF3 crystals

摘要: The absorption, MCD, and emission spectra associated with the nearest neighbour Ni2+ pairs in KMgF3 KZnF3 have been studied analysed on basis of theory which includes spin dependent excitation transfer as well independent transfer. It is shown that transfers are important determining pair energy levels for case where singleion states involve orbital degeneracy. antiferromagnetic J value ground state determined to be 68 cm-1.
