摘要: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) could be associated with several extra-intestinal manifestations (EIMs) involving musculoskeletal, hepatopancreatobiliary, ocular, renal, and pulmonary systems, as well the skin. In last years, hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is acquiring an increasing interest. IBD, especially Crohn's (CD), among most reported diseases in HS patients. The aim of this paper to give a brief overview data showing possible epidemiologic pathogenetic association between IBD HS. We performed pooled-data analysis four studies pooled prevalence patients was 12.8%, 95%CI 11.7%-13.9%. present 17.3% subjects CD (95%CI: 15.5%-19.1%) 8.5% UC 7.0%-9.9%). Some items, altered immune imbalance, are generally involved pathogenesis invoked by Smoking one relevant risk factors for both disorders, representing predictor their severity, despite, actually, there being lack analyzing shared pathway. A role inheritance has been supposed. Despite genetic susceptibility having demonstrated diseases, further needed investigate mutual route. Although linked alterations response, recent findings suggest intestinal skin microbiota, respectively. detail, frequent finding Staphylococcus aureus coagulase-negative staphylococci on cutaneous lesions suggests bacterial involvement pathogenesis. Moreover, microflora varies different regions body and, consequently, two profiles have identified these bases. On other hand, it well-known that microbiota may considered "the explosive mixture" at origin despite exact relationship not completely clarified yet. better comprehension some species play essential develop appropriate management strategies near future. final point represented similarities therapeutic since they controlled immunomodulatory drugs. conclusion, unregulated inflammation cause typical particularly when coexist. However, still largely unexplored field.
