摘要: Purpose Pain from osteoarthritis (OA) is generally classified as nociceptive (inflammatory). Animal models of knee OA have shown that sensory nerve fibers innervating the are significantly damaged with destruction subchondral bone junction, and induce neuropathic pain (NP). Our objective was to examine NP in knees patients using painDETECT (an questionnaire) evaluate relationship between NP, intensity, stage OA. Materials methods Ninety-two were evaluated this study. scores Visual Analogue Scales (VAS), Western Ontario McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC), painDETECT, duration symptoms, severity Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) system, amount joint fluid compared a Spearman's correlation coefficient by rank test. Results study identified at least 5.4% our likely 15.2% possibly having NP. The score correlated VAS WOMAC severity. Compared score, there tendency for positive KL grade, negative existence fluid, but these correlations not significant. Conclusion PainDETECT tended be seen less increased both which corresponded late stages It important consider treatment pain.
