摘要: A green microalga, Acutodesmus sp., a close relative of deserticola, was isolated from the wastewater discharges an oil refinery in India. This study examined effects light intensity, temperature, pH, and high-CO2 treatments (up to 20 %) on growth alga investigated different CO2 its macromolecular composition (protein, carbohydrate, lipids). Under controlled laboratory conditions, showed high rates over wide range 700 μmol photons m−2 s−1), temperature 40 °C), pH (5–10) conditions. In stationary phase, highest protein carbohydrate content found be 71.52 40.72 % dry weight at 5 15 % CO2, respectively. After 5 days cultivation, maximum biomass attained these cultures 1.149, 1.99, 1.75, 1.65 g L−1 5, 10, 15, 20 % respectively, indicating that this strain has significant tolerance CO2. These results indicate is promising candidate for use biofixation flue gases emitted by industries, it also strong potential as feedstock value-added substances.
