摘要: Over the last decade, development of novel and high penetrance genomic approaches to analyze biological samples has provided very new insights in comprehension molecular biology genetics tumors. The use these techniques, consisting exome sequencing, transcriptome, miRNome, chromosome alteration, genome, epigenome analysis, also been successfully applied adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC). In fact, analysis large cohorts patients allowed stratification ACC with different patterns alterations, associated outcomes, thus providing a classification malignancy be classical pathological analysis. Improving our knowledge about features will result not only better diagnostic prognostic accuracy, but identification more specific therapeutic targets for effective pharmacological anti-cancer approaches. particular, alteration profiles identified may represent targetable events by already developed or newly designed drugs enabling efficacious management patient context frontiers personalized precision medicine.
