摘要: Abstract Fast multisliced X -ray computed tomography yields unique anatomic and physiologic information regarding the function of heart, lungs, circulation within negative pressure environment intact thorax. We have applied multinomial models to distribution reconstructed lung air content large data volumes (up 4 million 16-bit voxels) generated by Dynamic Spatial Reconstructor aid in analysis. Such modeling coupled with easily accessible user interactive computer graphics routines has proven useful (1) smoothing over discrete regions artifact images; (2) allowing for streamlining previously time intensive analysis tasks; (3) providing a convenient numerical framework from which parameters determining regional expansion patterns can be assessed.
