摘要: Aggression is a highly evolutionarily adaptive behavior that critical for survival and reproduction, therefore, strongly ethologically conserved across species. However, due to environmental or biological processes, aggressive can transition from maladaptive. This associated with detrimental outcomes both the individual exhibiting their victims. Within United States, an estimated 2.7 million individuals over age of 12 report experiencing one more violent victimizations annually (Truman Morgan, 2016), ~70% victims serious violence experience ongoing socio-emotional problems as direct result (Langton Truman, 2014). Because marked impact has on societal health well-being, there have been efforts identify underlying risk factors development abnormal aggression. Longitudinal prospective population-based studies consistently future crime early-life adversities such abuse neglect. Strikingly, neglect most damaging predisposing factors, even so than inter-personal physical sexual (Gilbert et al, 2009).
