摘要: Abstract The middle water arch (MWA) is an innovation that developed for floating production storage and offloading (FPSO). During simulating structural global motion in time domain, the fully coupled hull, mooring lines, tendons risers technique widely recognized as a unique method to understand accurate hydrodynamic interactions coupling effects. This paper investigates dynamic response characteristics of single point turret-moored FPSO-MWA system under combined parallel wave, wind current conditions by using domain analysis code AQWA. complex nonlinear issues e.g. forces nonlinearity, nonlinearity are included numerical model. To illustrate effects FPSO, MWA system, solutions systematically compared with those from body without considering system. results indicate has not only important influence on top tensions shapes risers, but also have some contribution responses FPSO lines. Furthermore, reveal favorable performance multi-body may provide economic benefits due possible decrease fabrication cost work-off days.
