Economic and non-economic values and objectives in the EU’s international trade: Normative tensions, actors and processes

摘要: This Europe and the World: A law review special issue comprises selected papers presented at a RENFORCE workshop on theme of tensions between EU’s trade non-economic values, held Utrecht University in November 2017. The symposium addresses normative dilemmas underlying policy. Normative subsist between, one hand, basic pursuit its commercial interests liberalization, and, other mandate to promote safeguard number including human rights sustainable development. journal aims unveil existing investment policy, understand some key actors processes through which are created also mitigated. While economic values policy have been extensively discussed literature, present highlights recent developments relations, analyses not only but development, examines impact new technologies.
