Ecodesign: a Subject for Engineering Design Students at UPC

摘要: The aims of the Ecodesign subject are to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in designing new engineering products accordance ecological criteria. In this paper, evolution over time is discussed, from “common sense” application product life cycle analysis quantitative tools for analyzing alternative solutions evaluating final design. subject’s syllabus, organization classes, projects carried out by three examples discussed. Finally, conclusions drawn experience teaching free elective put forward.
