摘要: Abstract Type 2 diabetes is the most common clinical form of diabetes, accounting for about 90% all cases. It currently undergoing a worldwide epidemic; prevalence has tripled during last 30 years. The recent surveys in Europe indicate almost 5% middle-aged and older population. In USA, 8%. disease typically affects adults over age 40 years strongly associated with obesity (> 80% patients type are obese), inactivity, family history ethnic background. Western countries, greater minority populations than white populations, though it continues to increase groups. 10 years, there been shift towards younger onset, an emerging epidemic children, adolescents young adults, notably USA Japan. Diabetes-related complications major cause disability suffering, incur costs 5-10% gross national health budgets. Diabetes remains principal renal failure, limb amputations new-onset blindness, also risk factor heart stroke. Typical features listed Figure 1.
