Model-Based Book Dewarping Method for Content-Independent Document Images

摘要: This paper proposes a novel dewarping technique for document images based on digital cameras, from which are warped the curve surface of book bound volume. Our transforms pixels in coordinate system into planar system. In experiments,the test composed various font styles and size sprinted common text books. The validity our methods compares with program's curvature correction Abby FineReader Professional 9.0. outperforms other up to 49 percent word character precisions. Nevertheless, is independent contents, page layout, styles. concept approach whole pages by using function obtained experiments.
