摘要: This work describes the mathematical aspects of generalization our earlier study topological population analysis [J. Math. Chem. 28 (2000) 83] beyond scope HF approximation. The paper shows relation this general approach to earlier, heuristically introduced, procedures analysis, exemplified by Mulliken and its subsequent extensions which are straightforwardly derived from framework as particular cases.
