摘要: A circular waveguide with axially periodic thin metal disc inserts for its potential application in a gyro-TWT has been investigated dispersion, form factor, power flowing through the structure, interaction impedance, and gain. The structure field analysed dispersion characteristics due care to include rigour of considering effect higher order space modal harmonics. Dispersion reveal that under study like band-pass characteristics. Effect variation parameters on observed shape waveguidemode curve wideband operation device. With help factor which decides extent coupling between beam wave, optimum position decided where maximum wave takes place. For study, value azimuthal impedance increases introduction discs except at frequencies, it decreases rapidly is lower than smooth-wall waveguide. Gain-frequency response observation shows are readily reflected gain-frequency response. It found disc-hole radius more effective controlling device gain while disc-periodicity most parameter bandwidth. Results have verified against published results be very close agreement.
