Psychometric properties of measures of substance use: a systematic review and meta-analysis of reliability, validity and diagnostic test accuracy.

摘要: Synthesis of psychometric properties substance use measures to identify patterns and disorders remains limited. To address this gap, we sought systematically evaluate the detect misuse. We conducted a systematic review meta-analysis literature on classes associated with HIV risk (heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, ecstasy, alcohol) that were published in English before June 2016 reported at least one following outcomes interest: internal consistency (alpha), test-retest/inter-rater reliability (kappa), sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative value. used meta-analytic techniques generate pooled summary estimates for these using random effects hierarchical logistic regression models. Findings across 387 paper revealed overall, 65% alpha range fair-to-excellent; 44% kappa fair-to-excellent. In addition, 69, 97, 37 96% respectively, moderate-to-excellent. conclude many had fair/moderate-to-excellent different outcomes. Most scales English, within United States, highlighting need test validate more diverse settings. Additionally, majority studies high bias, indicating higher methodological quality.
