摘要: The electronic structure and chemical reactivity changes of highly under-coordinated Rh atoms on a Pt(111) surface versus coordination number were studied by combination synchrotron radiation core level photoemission spectroscopy density functional theory. properties adatoms are strongly modified the Pt substrate, when compared with equivalent atomic configuration in homometallic environment. A remarkable linear relationship is found between shifted spectral components, originating from different geometrical structures, corresponding induced d-band center shifts.
