摘要: Bone scintigraphy is used to detect radiographically silent fractures. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) currently screen knee injuries for cartilage and ligament damage. MRI also delineates bone marrow We investigated the scintigraphic findings in patients who had subchondral demonstrated on MRI. Thirteen underwent MRI, three-phase with SPECT, arthroscopic surgery after sustaining acute traumatic hemarthrosis of a knee. They all clinically unsuspected normal radiographs overlying articular at arthroscopy, consistent occult All showed focal repair scintigraphy. SPECT was easier interpret than multi-view planar imaging. confirms fractures but demonstrates more subtle injuries.
