摘要: Molecular weight distribution is a key item of information in tailoring polymer structures for different end uses. Manufacturers offer very many grades commodity polymers like poly(vinyl chloride), polyethylenes and polystyrenes. These differ significantly between themselves. Since each species has essentially the same chemical composition, differences commercial varieties are usually ascribed to variations molecular and, some cases, changes branching character as well. The ability optimize particular applications hinges, then, on understanding influence synthesis conditions product well knowledge mechanical processing properties material. In addition aiding achievement important practical objectives, data may provide insights into mechanism details polymerization process itself. This chapter review current (1987) state distributions that made by free radical polymerizations. Some comments fitting kinetic models also included.
