摘要: Slow scan anodic polarization experiments were conducted on high purity (99.99%) aluminium exposed to chloride containing solutions at temperatures ranging from 1 70 °C. The total charge passed prior stable pitting shifts towards higher values with increasing concentration and there is a transition point 30 °C above which significantly greater amount of involved. For all concentrations, the potential decreases temperature according linear relationship, also shows approximately °C, much steeper decrease observed for temperatures. Possible explanations these two effects are discussed.
