摘要: Remote sensing is a valuable and effective tool for monitoring estimating aboveground biomass (AGB) in large areas. The current international research on estimation by remote technique mainly focused forests, grasslands crops, with relatively few applications desert ecosystems. In this paper, Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM)/Enhanced Plus (ETM+) images from 1988 to 2007 the data of 283 AGB samples August were used estimate Mu Us Sandy Land over past 30 years. Moreover, temporal spatial distribution characteristics influencing factors climate underlying surface also studied. Results show that: (1) Differences correlations exist fitted equations between different vegetation indices modified soil adjusted index (MSAVI) (SAVI) higher AGB, while correlation normalized difference (NDVI) lower. Error testing shows that AGB-MSAVI model established can be accurately August. (2) fluctuant years, which decreased 1980s 1990s, increased 1990s 2007. had highest value, total 3.352×106 t. lowest value 2.328×106 (3) values was located middle southern parts 1980s. low whole area the1990s, Uxin. 2007, than those last twenty northern, western Land.
