摘要: Subsurface filamentation of sunspot magnetic fields has been postulated as a source the visible small-scale structure umbrae. We examine this possibility by investigating magnetohydrodynamic thin, vertical magnetized gas columns embedded in These umbral fluxtubes are assumed to have weaker field strengths than surrounding atmosphere. The steady-state equations solved numerically slender fluxtube approximation, thus allowing for stationary internal mass flows. include radiative exchange heat between and ambient medium using simple relaxation time approach.
