摘要: Varicocele, or dilation of the pampiniform venous plexus, affects up to 15% men. However, few these men encounter problems with fertility. This discrepancy between varicocele and number adversely affected has led abundant research identify mechanisms for formation as well pathologic by which varicoceles affect fertility potential. In this review, we discuss prevalence in adults, anatomic features varicocele, leading theories how can negatively potential, finally, current literature on impact testosterone production.
