摘要: There exist several different reliability- and approximation-based methods to determine the contribution of solar resources toward resource adequacy. However, most these approaches require knowing in advance installed capacities both conventional generators. This is a complication since generator are actually decision variables capacity planning studies. In this paper, we study effect time resolution PV penetration using model that accounts for full distribution outages variability. We also describe modification standard deterministic enforces adequacy target through reserve margin constraint. Our numerical experiments show at least 50 days worth data necessary approximate results full-resolution with maximum error 2.5% on costs capacity. amount displaced generation decreases rapidly as increases. find an exogenously defined constant value based time-series can yield relatively accurate small levels. For higher levels, modified better captures avoided decreasing PV.
