A Round Robin characterisation of the hydrogen sorption properties of a carbon based material

摘要: Abstract A Round Robin exercise has been carried out in the frame of European project NESSHY (Novel and Efficient Solid State HYdrogen storage systems) to evaluate hydrogen physisorption on a commercial microporous carbon material. Fourteen laboratories have measured pressure–composition–isotherms at 77 K ambient temperature following test protocol. The dispersion isotherms increases with pressure. Four similar by different methods from are proposed as standard sorption behaviour. capacities 1.40(±0.1) 0.07(±0.01) wt.% for 1 MPa pressure temperature, respectively. statistical evaluation results is applied order point that might need corrective action. Tentative recommendations optimising acquisition isotherm data check list reporting proposed. authors advise this material being suitable benchmarking field.
