摘要: Abstract In this paper, the mechanical properties and chemical composition of additive manufactured Ti–6Al–4V blocks are investigated compared to plate material aerospace specifications. Blocks (seven beads wide, seven layers high, 165 mm long) were deposited using a 3.5 kW Nd:YAG laser wire. Two different sets process parameters used three conditions (as-built, 600 °C/4 h, 1200 °C/2 h) deposit investigated. The particular impurity levels considerably below those tolerated according specifications (AMS 4911L). Static tensile samples extracted from in deposition direction punch building direction. experiments show that as-deposited can achieve strength ductility fulfill wrought 4928). 600 °C/4 h heat treatment leads significantly higher direction, but also decrease ductility. 1200 °C/2 h tends alloy’s strength.
