Review of water, lighting, and cooling energy efficiency measures for low-income homes located in warm climates

摘要: In support of the U.S. Department Energy`s Weatherization Assistance Program, Oak Ridge National Laboratory has performed a literature review weatherization measures applicable for homes located in warm climate regions. Sources this information included: (1) documented engineering estimates, (2) vendor information, (3) reported performance from research and field tests, (4) direct discussions with researchers, vendors, reporters. Estimated savings are extrapolated energy applied to end-use consumption low-income by Energy Information Administration. Additionally, installation costs, savings-to-investment ratios, parameters indicating sensitivity issues such as occupancy, construction, client education, maintenance requirements presented. The report is comprised two sections: an overview measure performance, appendix. tabular format, which allows quick reference. More detailed references each presented Appendix it highly recommended that these be reviewed prior selection.
