摘要: Measurements made by the ASPERA plasma instrument onboard Phobos-2 spacecraft have shown that transition from Martian magnetosheath occupied mainly shocked solar wind to boundary layer dominated planetary occurs a sequence of step-like drops and jumps proton bulk velocity magnetic field value. The is stratified on alternating layers either protons or heavy ions. resemblance with shock-like structures emphasized fact temperature enhancements which replicate velocity. observed striations are considered as peculiar discontinuities typical for multi-ion plasma, flute-like modes may be excited at magnetosphere.
