摘要: Identifying major antigenic and protective epitopes of the H7 hemagglutinin (HA) will be important for understanding antibody response to vaccines developed against novel influenza H7N9 viruses that emerged in China 2013. To facilitate characterization HA develop reagents evaluation candidate vaccines, we generated a panel murine monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) A/Shanghai/2/2013 using mammalian cell-derived virus-like particles (VLP) containing HA. Neutralizing identified an epitope corresponding site A on structurally similar H3 hemagglutinin. Importantly, neutralizing protect challenge. This is conserved among many viruses, including strains both Eurasian North American lineage, isolated are cross-reactive with older vaccine strains. The results indicate potentially suggest potential benefit responses vaccination vaccines.
