摘要: Abstract In the present paper we have analysed experimentally (wind tunnel) and numerically (CFD) impact of some morphological parameters on flow within above urban canopy. particular, this study is a first attempt in systematically studying canopies using simplified, yet more realistic than simple array cuboids, building arrays. Current mathematical models would provide same results for six case studies presented here (two by three wind directions), however measured spatially averaged profiles are quite different from each other. Results highlight that differences vertical actually significant all experimental/numerical cases. Besides height variability, other features proved to be factor shaping dispersion at local neighbourhood scale canopy directly above: aspect ratio (or, conversely, street canyon ratio), angle between canyons incoming geometrical such as, example, presence much taller buildings immediately upwind studied area.
