摘要: IFN001:Advanced Information Retrieval (AIRS) is a mandatory coursework requirement of doctoral enrolment at QUT. It aims to assist research students in working toward their literature review through the development advanced information literacy knowledge and practice. In response increasing remote offshore enrolments, support University’s objectives regarding flexible delivery online teaching, QUT Library has led an innovative course. From 2005, AIRS Online available as parallel option face-to-face mode. provides student-focussed learning environment which encourages deep caters for diverse styles needs. founded on principle that simple transfer content will not deliver equivalent outcomes students. Unlike passive web-based tutorial, course been designed actively engage teacher-facilitated, self-directed learning. Integrating educational technology linking across dual IT platforms, necessitated partnering University between teaching systems staff various online, multimedia web staff. This paper explores pedagogical, technical administrative partnerships, issues re-crafting existing classroom-based environment.
