摘要: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect a three-stage nursing intervention increase Turkish women's participation in Pap smear testing. Knowledge and beliefs about cervical cancer screening barriers smears also were explored. In quasi-experimental target population 2,500 women, 237 completed pre-test measures inform intervention, an educational brochure distributed all 2,500. As result, 510 women (20.4%) accepted free smears. Of remaining 1,990 417 randomly selected for telephone interviews, 302 participated, 158 these (52.3%) participated 144 who did not have after participating 54 then interviewed face-to-face, 20 (37.0%) decided accept A total 668 had by end period.
